Qualitative pollen analysis of late Pleistocene and Holocene sediments obtained in four logs made along the deltaic environments of Doce , in Espirito Santo State coastal plain are presented. twenty four distinct non-pollinic palynomorphs are described and illustrated, attesting the presence of diversified pteridophyta, freshwater algae, and a minor component of testate amoebae and palynoforaminifers. the comparison with modern flora and its ecological appeals were made, looking for applications in a past analogue environmental context.
