Les connaissances mobilisées par l’enseignant en situation de classe : quelle prise en compte du contexte ?

Abstract

Cet article vise à dresser une revue de la littérature traitant des connaissances mobilisées par les enseignants en classe. Trois conceptions des connaissances y sont exposées : (1) la première conception est celle des recherches réalisées dans le courant des pedagogical content knowledge (PCK), qui prônent un appui sur les situations réelles de classe et marquent ainsi l’ébauche d’une prise en compte du contexte ; (2) la deuxième conception est celle des travaux réalisés dans une acception didactique, qui accentuent cette prise en compte du contexte de classe dans l’étude de connaissances au cœur de l’action conjointe enseignant-élèves et médiées par le savoir enseigné ; (3) la troisième conception est celle des recherches s’inscrivant dans une perspective située et enactive, qui considèrent les connaissances comme fondamentalement couplées à un contexte inextricable et positionné comme une ressource pour l’action. Des perspectives de recherche sont envisagées pour appréhender ces connaissances dans le couplage enseignant-élèves et dans leur caractère incorporé.
