Abstract

Las excavaciones realizadas durante los últimos 5 años en el recinto amurallado de Plaza de Moros están aportando interesantes datos sobre los sistemas de poblamiento de la Segunda Edad del Hierro en el Valle Medio del Tajo. Comienzan ahora a ser conocidos aspectos de los hábitats carpetanos del Centro de la Península, así como los sistemas de defensa de sus poblados, su peculiar urbanismo y tecnología.
