Fenología de la flora urbana en el Sureste Ibérico: Almería (España)

Abstract

Se describe el ciclo biológico de las 31 especies vegetales más representativas de la flora de la ciudad de Almería y. mediante análisis de regresión, se establecen sus relaciones con la temperatura y precipitación media de cada mes. De los datos del presente estudio se desprende que las máximas intensidades de emergencias de plántulas, de crecimiento vegetativo, floración y fructificación se produjeron entre Diciembre y Febrero. Febrero y Marzo, en Marzo, y Abril y Mayo respectivamente. Los resultados indican la mayor importancia de la temperatura en todas las fases, debido probablemente al papel regulador que ejerce sobre las tasas fotosintéticas y respiratorias así como sobre la rapidez de las reacciones enzimáticas en la germinación. Su papel es también decisivo en floración, ya que muchas especies requieren niveles concretos para que se produzca.
