Abstract

Georg Christoph Lichtemberg écrivait le 1 er juillet 1742 : « Il est impossible de porter dans une foule le flambeau de la vérité sans roussir la barbe de quelqu’un ». Par « flambeau de la vérité » nous entendons, évidemment, libre examen, la « barbe » étant celle de l’autorité et de la tradition.
