
Les instabilités rocheuses figurent parmi les aléas rencontrés fréquemment en zone de montagne. Afin de réduire le risque associé, la stratégie dite passive vise à mettre en place des techniques de protection qui permettent de contrôler la trajectoire des blocs rocheux en mouvement. Parmi ces techniques de protection, l'usage des filets pare-pierres constitue une solution particulièrement efficace. Cet article se propose de présenter de manière illustrative un outil numérique de dimensionnement des filets pare-pierres.
