La diferencia entre «fazer bien» y «fazer mal»: el valor didáctico de los Siete infantes de Lara

Abstract

Cette etude analyse la caracterisation des personnages Gonzalo Gonzalez et Ruy Velazquez en tenant compte de plusieurs lois incluses dans Las siete partidas. De cette lecture l’on deduit que la legende des Siete infantes de Lara a ete incorporee a l’Estoria de Espana parce qu’elle obeit a la mission didactique que le roi Alphonse X le Savant exposait dans le prologue de ladite chronique. En effet, la conduite de ces chevaliers fournit des modeles positifs et negatifs qui enseignent la difference entre fazer bien et fazer mal. L’attitude de Gonzalo Gonzalez reflete les valeurs fondamentales que l’on attendait d’un chevalier ideal, et elle contraste avec celle de Ruy Velasquez, un noble chretien qui rejette les codes du groupe auquel il appartient.
