Siete infantes de Lara: historia y ficción en la épica castellana medieval

Abstract

La geste des Sept infants de Lara a surement ete composee pour exalter la famille des Lara dans un moment ou l’ascendance musulmane, concretement celle de Mudarra, un neveu d’Almanzor, etait un signe de prestige. Le germe de la poesie epique fictive se trouve peut-etre dans les plans d’Alphonse VI de faire de Sancho Alfonsez – fils qu’il eut avec la noble musulmane Zaida – le roi de tous ses royaumes, et peut-etre l’« Empereur des deux religions ». De la meme maniere, l’apparente critique du tympan de la Porte de l’Agneau de Leon, ou nous voyons une histoire sacrificielle et deux meres de religions distinctes, dont une avait adopte le fils bâtard qui sera le pere des ismaelites ou musulmans, renforce cette hypothese et confirme le role extraordinaire des femmes de l’aristocratie.
