Le futurisme magique

Abstract

Souvent opposés, l’occultisme et la science vont depuis toujours de pair, et la situation n’a pas changé aujourd’hui. La nouvelle occulture s’inspire autant de la haute technologie que de la fantasy, de la pop-culture et des anciennes traditions magiques. Quant aux spéculations hyperrationalistes des transhumanistes, elles présentent bien souvent des analogies avec les théories des vieux grimoires. Mais contrairement à la plupart des transhumanistes, le magicien moderne voit le transhumain comme une extension de notre être biologique plutôt qu’une fusion avec la machine.
