Abstract

Deux nouvelles espèces du complexe Matelea stenopetala (Apocynaceae, Asclepiadoideae) sont décrites dans le bouclier guyanais et le Brésil amazonien : Matelea brevistipitata Krings & Morillo, sp. nov. et Matelea trichopedicellataKrings & Morillo, sp. nov. Les nouvelles espèces appartiennent à un petit groupe de taxons à fleurs pubescentes adaxiales dans le complexe, y compris Matelea hildegardiana et Matelea pakaraimensis. Les nouvelles espèces sont décrites et une clé dichotomique est fournie.

Se describen dos nuevas especies en el complejo Matelea stenopetala (Apocynaceae, Asclepiadoideae) del Escudo Guayanés y Brasil Amazónico: Matelea brevistipitata Krings & Morillo, sp. nov. y Matelea trichopedicellataKrings & Morillo, sp. nov. La nueva especie pertenece a un pequeño grupo de taxones de floración adaxial-pubescente dentro del complejo, incluyendo Matelea hildegardiana y Matelea pakaraimensis. Se describen las nuevas especies y se proporciona una clave dicotómica.

Two new species in the Matelea stenopetala complex (Apocynaceae, Asclepiadoideae) are described from the Guiana Shield and Amazonian Brazil: Matelea brevistipitata Krings & Morillo, sp. nov. and Matelea trichopedicellataKrings & Morillo, sp. nov. The new species belong to a small group of adaxially-pubescent-flowered taxa within the complex, including Matelea hildegardiana and Matelea pakaraimensis. The new species are described and a dichotomous key is provided.
