Abstract

Miconia machinazana C.Ulloa & D.A. Neill, sp.nov., une nouvelle espèce de Melastomataceae de la frontière Équateur-Pérou est décrite et illustrée. Elle se caractérise par des feuilles étroites et décussées, un indument brun rougeâtre dense, de petites fleurs en panicules courtes, des pétales jaune pâle et des anthères s'ouvrant par deux grands pores terminaux.

Miconia machinazana C.Ulloa & D.A. Neill, sp.nov., se describe e ilustra una nueva especie de Melastomataceae de la frontera Ecuador-Perú. Se caracteriza por las hojas estrechas, decusadas, denso indumento marrón rojizo, pequeñas flores en panículas cortas, pétalos amarillo pálido y anteras que se abren por dos grandes poros terminales.

Miconia machinazana C.Ulloa & D.A. Neill, sp.nov., a new species of Melastomataceae from the Ecuador-Peru border is described and illustrated.It is characterized by the narrow, decussate leaves, dense reddish brown indument, small flowers in short panicles, pale yellow petals, and anthers opening by two large terminal pores.

Neill، sp.nov.، نوع جديد من Melastomataceae من الحدود بين الإكوادور وبيرو يتم وصفه وتوضيحه. يتميز بالأوراق الضيقة المتصالبة، والقوام البني المحمر الكثيف، والزهور الصغيرة في الأنيقات القصيرة، والبتلات الصفراء الشاحبة، والمذنبات التي تفتح بواسطة اثنين من المسام الطرفية الكبيرة.
