
En su Etica a Nicomaco y en su Etica a Eudemo, Aristoteles senala que la justicia natural es mutable y no es la misma en todas partes. Lo que parece sugerirse es que ningun acto, ni siquiera el asesinato, es siempre malo. Sin embargo, como queda de manifiesto, especialmente tras la lectura de su Gran Moral (Magna Moralia), Aristoteles hace una distincion entre el “que” (igualdad), el “en que” (proporcion entre personas y cosas) y el “acerca de que” (cuales cosas se intercambian y con cuales personas) de la justicia. Admite la variabilidad solo en el “acerca de que”, y ninguna variabilidad en el “que” y en el “en que”. Esto es claro en el caso del adulterio, que a juicio de Aristoteles es siempre un acto malo. Lo mismo dice en otra parte de actos como el aborto, la eutanasia y la usura
