El libro ilustrado en España (1868-1936)

Abstract

El libro ilustrado alcanzó una notable relevancia en la cultura española entre 1868 y 1936. Este trabajo explora la evolución de este medio en España durante este periodo, y su impacto en la literatura y las artes plásticas. A través del análisis de ediciones ilustradas del Quijote y la novela realista española, la autora examina las dinámicas editoriales y artísticas que marcaron su periodo de esplendor. Con un enfoque interdisciplinario que integra teorías cognitivas, multimodales y materialistas, se profundiza en las relaciones entre texto e imagen a través del estudio de su interacción semiótica y su influencia en la recepción literaria. Además, se contextualiza el auge del libro ilustrado en el panorama editorial español, donde se destacan los avances técnicos y la transformación de las prácticas lectoras.
