Abstract

« Simone de Beauvoir : Sa vie, sa philosophie, ses oeuvres » retrace le parcours remarquable de cette figure emblématique du XXe siècle. Née à Paris, Beauvoir surmonte son éducation conservatrice pour devenir une pionnière de l’existentialisme aux côtés de Jean-Paul Sartre. Son oeuvre majeure, Le Deuxième Sexe, dénonce les constructions de la féminité et marque le début d’une nouvelle ère de pensée féministe. Ce livre plonge au coeur de sa philosophie, explorant sa transition de jeune catholique à libre penseuse, et dresse un portrait de sa vie personnelle et intellectuelle.
