Pour une traductologie élargie

Abstract

En traductologie, la définition intuitive de traduction – une activité qui permettrait de passer d’un texte en langue-source à un autre texte, en langue-cible, qui en reproduirait plus ou moins exactement le sens et le style – semble satisfaire de moins en moins de chercheuses et chercheurs. En conséquence, un grand nombre de textes et d’ouvrages consacrés à la traduction, qu’ils relèvent ou non de la discipline à proprement parler, essaient d’élargir son domaine d’application. Ce livre propose un survol de ces nouvelles approches. Sa dernière partie offre une synthèse permettant de tirer le meilleur de chacune, pour construire un modèle de traductologie plus accueillant, où ces différentes perspectives pourraient toutes avoir leur place.
