Estudios de literatura italiana

Abstract

En este libro se recogen estudios de autores muy relevantes de la literatura italiana del Novecientos, así como un apéndice que contiene dos estudios sobre dos autores norteamericanos bastante presentes en la literatura europea del siglo XX. Se trata de escritores que han destacado por su alta calidad artística, y que se han integrado a lo largo del siglo en distintas corrientes literarias bastante conectadas entre sí. Es el caso del Modernismo, el Hermetismo, el Naturalismo (Verismo) lírico, la Neovanguardia y la Poesía de Investigación. El trabajo de traducción al español de la mayor parte de estos poetas que ha realizado durante años el autor del libro imprime la peculiaridad y la densidad exegética de los estudios. Una actividad que le ha ayudado sobre todo a captar y poner de relieve aspectos importantes de las poéticas analizadas a pesar de la amplia bibliografía crítica existente, a la que el autor contribuye a su revisión y actualización.
