Suriyeli Göçmenlere Yönelik Tutumların Bütünleşmiş Tehdit ve Sosyal Mesafe Kuramları Doğrultusunda İncelenmesi: Süleyman Demirel Üniversitesi Örneği

Abstract

Çalışmanın amacı Türkiye Cumhuriyeti vatandaşlarının, Suriyeli göçmenlere yönelik algılanan gerçekçi ve sembolik tehdit ile sosyal mesafe düzeylerinin incelenmesidir. Çalışmanın temel varsayımı katılımcıların cinsiyet, gelir düzeyleri gibi demografik değişkenler ile yine katılımcıların yakın çevrelerindeki Suriyeli göçmen yoğunluğu, kendilerini ifade ettikleri dini, etnik ve siyasal kimliklerinin, Suriyeli göçmenlere yönelik geliştirdikleri tutumlar üzerinde etkili olduğudur. Çalışma uzayı Süleyman Demirel Üniversitesi öğrencilerinden oluşmaktadır. Çalışma verilerinin toplanmasında Türkçe geçerliliğe sahip, tehdit ve sosyal mesafe ölçeklerinden faydalanılmıştır.
