My task is to design the front suspension and steering of an ultra-light vehicle (pneumobil). In this context, ultra-light vehicle means a single-seater, alternatively powered vehicle. With the chassis, the connection between the chassis and the wheel is realized in such a way that the occuring road bumps, changing of directions, corners can be reacted as quickly, steadily and safely as possible, thereby ensuring the highest speed in the given situation, thus contributing to the best possible lap time. That is why I present in this article the design of a chassis that is geometrically adjustable, spring-loaded, dampens vibrations due to road errors and cost-effective. The pneumobile is a pneumatic vehicle that uses the energy of compressed air to transfer torque to the driven wheel using pneumatic controls and actuators.
