Abstract

El trabajo de Tesis desarrollado ha permitido elaborar un balance hidrológico bajo régimen no permanente, cuantificar el agua presente en La Cava, identificar sus orígenes y calcular sus porcentajes de incidencia y, a partir de los análisis de calidad del agua realizados, caracterizar el recurso en función de sus propiedades fisicoquímicas. Una vez cuantificada y caracterizada, el tratamiento de los aspectos hídricos ambientales se realizó a partir de los conceptos estratégicos de amenaza, vulnerabilidad y riesgo, y la utilización de las herramientas que provee el diagnóstico y la gestión ambiental. Como conclusión de este análisis se puede señalar que nos encontramos ante un área poblacional vulnerable la cual, por las características resultantes de la intervención antrópica del medio natural y la presencia de amenazas socio-naturales, antrópico-contaminantes y antrópicotecnológicas, presenta altos niveles de riesgo.
