Pigmentos, tintes y formas

Abstract

Este texto analiza las relaciones entre pigmentos, tintes y formas. La primera parte propone una crítica a Hjelmslev, ya que los pigmentos no constituyen —como él afirma— una materia amorfa e indeterminada y tampoco pueden reducirse a sustancias ni a formas; por eso es importante distinguir los pigmentos y los tintes. A continuación, se precisa las relaciones entre colores y tintes y se analiza la semiotización de las tres categorías: tinte, claridad y saturación. Por último, se propone una clasificación de los diferentes modos de considerar las relaciones entre pigmentos, tintes y formas. El objetivo general consiste en destacar el análisis del color en las obras de arte.
