Abstract

Si bien las obras de Silvina Ocampo han sido estudiadas desde diversas perspectivas, sus procesos de escritura permanecen aún inexplorados. Algunos de sus argumentos y personajes fueron plasmados en más de una obra, de géneros literarios distintos, haciendo de la reescritura un proceso central de su poética. Este artículo estudia tres de esos casos: “Autobiografía de Irene”, “El diario de Porfiria Bernal”, “Del diario de Porfiria”, “El impostor” y una versión inédita para cine. El análisis de cada uno de los textos permite reconstruir una instancia deliberadamente esencial del proceso creativo de Ocampo, que encuentra una dimensión adicional en varios testimonios de la autora donde expone una suerte de poética de la experimentación y del cruce de géneros como fuente de vitalidad literaria. La ambigüedad de los textos resuena en una posición autoral que se desplaza desde un lugar de responsabilidad en un gesto hacia la incertidumbre.
