Condensações Internas - Critérios de Aceitabilidade

Abstract

Dampness in constructive elements is one of the main causes of pathologies in buildings, by accelerating the degradation of materials used, affecting, thus, their performance. This work aims at being defended a set of qualitative and quantitative rules for appropriate design and execution of constructive elements, against the phenomenon of water vapour diffusion and interstitial condensations. We show Glaser method and EN ISO 13788, important to study and evaluate the risk of interstitial condensations in constructive elements. To minimize and avoid the risk of interstitial condensation was then elaborated a catalogue of design principles for different elements such as walls, floors and roofs. The automatic calculation program, Condensa 13788, following the calculation method recommended in accordance with EN ISO 13788, allows simulate and study different constructive solutions, according to the set rules, to validate the functionality of the catalogue.KEYWORDS: Vapour diffusion, Interstitial condensations, Glaser method, EN ISO 13788, Design principles.
