Wikis e aprendizagem da escrita criativa e colaborativa

Abstract

The project here presented had the main goal of developing practices of interaction between two groups of four students of the Doctoral Programme in Multimedia in Education at the University of Aveiro. It aimed to foster activities of exploration of didactic collaborative tools, through a Wiki, focussing on the promotion of mechanisms of creative writing and the perfecting of collaborative work methods. The choice for the Wiki as a “scaffold” for the course fostered cooperative and collaborative work within a social interactionism context of e-moderation, giving rise, as a final product, to an original short story. Throughout this article we present: the structure and the functioning of the course; the contributions of the multimedia resources towards maximising participation, sharing and interaction strategies; a few critical reflections about the reconstructive learning process and the more adequate assessment criteria for the model implemented. The advantages and potential of wikis in educational contexts are also put forward.
