Abstract

L'analyse des differents types de jardins traditionnels au Vietnam (jardins imperiaux, jardins domestique et jardins cultuels) fait ressortir, moins les contraintes environnementales, qu'un choix culturel et cultural delibere. Espace de loisir, ou a vocation ornementale, reserve a une elite, espace de production vivriere et familial constitue en ecosysteme paysan, ou espace de veneration associe aux lieux de culte, les jardins, au Vietnam, participent au marquage d'un paysage fortement anthropise, recreant les fonctions essentielles d'une nature foisonnante et protectrice.
