Abstract

Isidus moreli Mulsant & Rey, 1874, est un Elateride psammophile a repartition circum-mediterraneenne. La biologie larvaire de cette espece est precisee. Des observations recentes montrent que ce Coleoptere est saproxylique. L'utilisation de ce taxon comme bioindicateur de l'etat de conservation de la biocenose du littoral sableux mediterraneen est discutee et preconisee. Quelques caracteres d'identification de la larve sont presentes. L'habitus de la femelle, encore non publie, est ici devoile.
