Abstract

« Prose narrative : détérioration et désespoir ». Au fil de son histoire, la littérature vénézuélienne a constamment gardé le lien avec la représentation des conditions sociales, politiques et économiques caractérisant un moment de la vie du pays. Cette constante interaction entre texte et réalité reste valide pour les écrits publiés dans la décennie 1970, bien que ce soit un temps de recherches formelles. Dans les deux dernières décennies, des écrivains poursuivent cette relation, parfois sous forme d'achronie ou d'anachronie rétrospective, regards vers le passé qui sont sous-tendus par les changements apparus dans la réalité. Ce nouvel ordre existentiel entraîne des expectatives nouvelles. La lecture des récits de la décennie 1980 et de la décennie 1990 soulignent la force du désespoir que découle du sentiment d'une dégradation, une détérioration de la société qui pousse à l'inquiétude devant le futur, l'incertitude personnelle et collective.
