USE OF WORKSHOPS IN AESTHETIC THERAPY TRAINING OF FUTURE PRIMARY SCHOOL TEACHERS

Abstract

The reform of national education is characterized by the transformation of future primary school teachers’ vocational training. Thus, the article updates the introduction of interactive aesthetic therapy pedagogical technologies in higher education institutions, which are able to harmonize the educational space of the university, stimulate the motivation of future teachers to study, support the creative individuality of every student, etc. The author notes that the established educational tradition of professional pedagogical education is sufficiently standardized, which reduces the effectiveness of this process and nullifies the interpersonal interaction of the lecturer and students during the study. It is determined that a topical and effective form of interactive and dynamic learning with a view to enhancing aesthetic therapeutic education of future elementary school teachers is a workshop method that allows to acquire knowledge and form the skills of the chosen profession in a comfortable and relaxed environment. The article highlights a step-by-step method of aesthetic therapy training of students in the process of conducting a workshop (formulation of the purpose and end result of the lesson; determination of specific aesthetic therapy techniques and exercises for different workshop stages; planning of time limits, a theme, key questions and necessary resources; formulating the own “teacher’s message”. The peculiarities of using “mind-maps” for the effective planning of aesthetic therapy training of future primary school teachers in the course of the workshop are revealed. The peculiarities of applying certain aesthetic therapy exercises (phototherpeutic technique “Conversation”, the exercise “Talker”, sand technique “Creating the own world”) in the process of organizing workshops are characterized.Building a new educational paradigm requires a reboot of the theoretical component of the educational process, its practical orientation, as well as the development of an adequate pedagogical strategy for the formation of an independent, free and responsible person of the 21st century. In this sense, aesthetic therapy training of future primary school teachers is of particular importance, which promotes the harmonization and optimization of the educational space of HEA and facilitates the acquisition of effective and non-standard ways of solving professional problems. Such training is possible subject to the use of innovative interactive technologies – in particular, a workshop that helps students to develop mobility, skills of active interpersonal interaction, speed and effectiveness of response in critical situations, flexibility and adaptability to change, which provides competitiveness on the basis of European standards and the best national educational traditions. The prospect of further research is seen in the study of scientific, methodological and organizational principles of the workshop method use in the process of professional training of future professionals in other pedagogical specialties.
