Natural fiber composites-performance and durability perspective

Abstract

Dado que el planeta requiere materiales ambientalmente sostenibles y reciclados, los científicos de todo el mundo están tratando de crear nuevos materiales que beneficien al medio ambiente. Los compuestos de fibra natural han sido uno de los temas de investigación más investigados en los últimos años como resultado de la necesidad de nuevos materiales respetuosos con el medio ambiente. Muchos estudios muestran que los compuestos híbridos de fibra natural pueden ser una alternativa viable de componentes estructurales o semiestructurales a los compuestos reforzados con fibra sintética, particularmente en aplicaciones livianas.

Puisque la planète a besoin de matériaux durables et recyclés, les scientifiques du monde entier essaient de créer de nouveaux matériaux qui profiteront à l'environnement. Les composites de fibres naturelles ont été l'un des sujets de recherche les plus étudiés ces dernières années en raison de la nécessité de nouveaux matériaux respectueux de l'environnement. De nombreuses études montrent que les composites hybrides à fibres naturelles peuvent être une alternative structurelle ou semi-structurelle viable aux composites renforcés de fibres synthétiques, en particulier dans les applications légères.

Since the planet requires environmentally sustainable and recycled materials, scientists all over the world are trying to create new materials that will benefit the environment. Natural fiber composites have been one of the most researched research subjects in recent years as a result of the need for new environmentally friendly materials. Many studies show that natural fiber hybrid composites can be a viable structural or semi-structural component alternative to synthetic fiber-reinforced composites, particularly in lightweight applications.

نظرًا لأن الكوكب يتطلب مواد مستدامة بيئيًا ومعاد تدويرها، يحاول العلماء في جميع أنحاء العالم إنشاء مواد جديدة تفيد البيئة. كانت مركبات الألياف الطبيعية واحدة من أكثر الموضوعات البحثية بحثًا في السنوات الأخيرة نتيجة للحاجة إلى مواد جديدة صديقة للبيئة. تظهر العديد من الدراسات أن المركبات الهجينة من الألياف الطبيعية يمكن أن تكون مكونًا هيكليًا أو شبه هيكليًا قابلاً للتطبيق بديلاً للمركبات الاصطناعية المقواة بالألياف، لا سيما في التطبيقات خفيفة الوزن.
