DA GÊNESE À INSTITUCIONALIZAÇÃO DO COLETIVISMO ARTÍSTICO BRASILEIRO

Abstract

O presente artigo inicialmente remonta à primeira década dos anos 2000, para discutir a gênese do coletivismo artístico e ativista no Brasil, enquanto forma de coletividade distinta dos grupos. Neste bojo, sublinhamos os modos pelos quais estes coletivos exercem uma relação crítica com as instituições de arte. Em seguida, abordamos a maneira como a exposição Zona de Poesia Árida, realizada em 2015 no Museu de Arte do Rio, reencena uma série de querelas em torno do processo de institucionalização e historicização destes coletivos nos circuitos de arte contemporânea. Partindo dos subsídios teóricos de Cristina Freire, Lucy Lippard, Jacques Rancière e Peter Bürger, explicitamos de que forma as discussões que ganham corpo nesta exposição partem de uma relação simplista entre arte e práxis vital, em que a eficácia política depende de uma saída dos espaços da arte. Por fim, propomos a institucionalidade crítica como modo de manter, em tensionamento, certo campo de contaminações entre arte, não-arte, ativismo e política.
