Abstract Carcass yields and cooked meat yields were determined for 12-week-old keets. Cooked yields were determined after steam cooking at 105 C for 75 min. Eviscerated carcass yields, including the neck and giblets, of 76.8%, 76.9%, and 76.9% were obtained for males, females, and combined sexes, respectively. Cooked yields, as a percent of the eviscerated carcass including the neck and giblets, were 34.9% for total meat and 45.7% for total edible portions. Breast meat accounted for approximately 50% of the total cooked lean meat.
