Abstract

A Real Academia Galega conserva como prezada xoia nos seus arquivos, por doazón xenerosa do ilustre e sempre lembrado académico de número don Ramón Villar Ponte, o manuscrito desta conferencia, proferida polo que foi tamén o seu esgrevio membro numerario don Alfonso R. Castelao na exposición das súas obras, celebrada na cidade da Coruña o 1 de marzo de 1920. Non era xusto nin atinado manter por máis tempo no in pace do esquecemento tan interesante traballo, inserto no xornal A Nosa Terra daquela data de xeito parcial e sen os expresivos e certeiros debuxos que ilustran o texto.
