Abstract

O establecemento da velocidade media de lectura das persoas adultas é un coñecemento necesario para asegurar a comprensibilidade dos subtítulos das obras audiovisuais ou dos audiolibros, entre outros produtos. O estudo da velocidade en que leron os mesmos textos de ficción e de divulgación 28 persoas de diferentes idades e formación permite establecer unha media de 243 palabras por minuto na lectura silenciosa e de 167 ppm, na lectura oral.
