Abstract

Logos jest Słowem Przedwiecznym, Sensem wszystkich rzeczy, odwiecznie istniejącym w Synu Bożym. Jest to Logos, który staje się Bogiem-Człowiekiem przez przyjęcie natury ludzkiej. Tak idea grecka Logosu osiąga swoją pełnię dopiero w Logosie wcielonym, w Słowie, które stało się Ciałem. Odtąd Logos nie jest już tylko „sensem”, „myślą” istniejącą poza rzeczami, ale On sam wszedł w ciało i ucieleśnił się, jest Logos incarnatus. Teraz Słowo nie jest już tylko „zastępstwem” kogoś drugiego, cielesnego, lecz złączone z całą rzeczywistością. Tak Logos stworzenia, Logos w człowieku i prawdziwy Logos wcielony, odwieczny Logos – Syn Boży – schodzą się ze sobą.
