
This study aims to examine the effect of locus of control and organizational culture on improving job satisfaction and performance of MTsN teachers in Pekanbaru. The population in this study were MTsN teachers in Pekanbaru and the total sample used was 111 teachers. The data analysis technique used is the Structural Equation Model (SEM) with PLS. The results showed that Locus of control had a significant positive effect on teacher satisfaction and performance, while organizational culture only had a significant positive effect on increasing teacher satisfaction but not on teacher performance.
