Abstract CROLOY 800 is an austenitic stainless steel intended for high-temperature service. In addition to its excellent resistance to corrosion in various media, it exhibits excellent strength and resistance to oxidation at elevated temperatures. Among its many applications are high-temperature processing of hydrocarbons in refinery or petrochemical services, superheater and reheater tubin8g, nuclear reactor steam generators, heat-treating equipment and food processing.
