Schulleitungen sind heutzutage weitaus mehr als Lehrkräfte mit zusätzlichen Verwaltungsaufgaben. Es wird von ihnen erwartet, Verantwortung in den Bereichen Management, Führung, Verwaltung und Personalentwicklung zu übernehmen, dabei jedoch auch weiterhin Lehrkräfte sowie Verwaltende zu sein. Doch existieren für diese zusätzlichen Tätigkeitsbereiche entsprechende Qualifizierungsmaßnahmen? In welcher Form und Verbindlichkeit findet in Deutschland eine Qualifizierung zur Schulleitung statt? Inwiefern unterscheidet sich eine Qualifizierung von Bundesland zu Bundesland? School leaders in Germany are a lot more than teachers with additional administrative tasks. They are expected to be managers, school developers, leaders, and in addition also administrators and teachers. How are they qualified for this position? What forms of qualification exist and how obligatory are they? How does this differ between the Federal States of Germany?
