Abstract

Identidade, desenvolvimento Profissional e a aprendizagem docente são categorias da educação que ganharam maior visibilidade nas pesquisas educacionais brasileiras recentemente e transformou-se em objeto de investigação do Grupo de Pesquisa Formação Docente – FORMACE do Campus Avançado de Patu – CAP da Universidade do Estado do Rio Grande do Norte UERN. Este artigo tem como objetivo discorrer sobre os resultados da pesquisa realizada sobre a identidade docente e as práticas e saberes mobilizados nos licenciandos do Curso de Pedagogia do CAP/UERN, por meio das vivências no subprojeto Programa Institucional de Bolsas de Iniciação à Docência-PIBID Pedagogia do CAP/UERN. Teoricamente está baseado em Gatti (2013), Marcelo Garcia (1999), Nóvoa (2009) dentre outros. A metodologia utilizada caracteriza-se pela abordagem qualitativa, a partir de um estudo bibliográfico e de campo, utilizando a entrevista semiestruturada e a análise de conteúdo, subsidiada em Bardin (1977). Os resultados evidenciam que as reflexões sobre identidade, desenvolvimento e aprendizagem docente realizadas pelos licenciandos em Pedagogia perpassam pela experiência vivenciada através do PIBID e o significado de “ser professor” pode ser construído e desconstruídos em razão do contexto de trabalho. Investir na formação continuada é como condição fundamental em direção ao desenvolvimento profissional e construção da identidade docente na tentativa de superar os desafios e tensionamentos vividos no trabalho docente.
