¿Hasta que el texto nos separe? Estudio de la colaboración entre autores y traductores noveles en un proyecto internacional de escritura creativa y traducción

Abstract

La colaboración entre distintos agentes es hoy una realidad asentada en distintas áreas de la traducción, incluida la traducción literaria. En esta rama, una colaboración recurrente es la que se da entre traductores y escritores. El presente estudio examina la interacción entre estas partes dentro de un proyecto universitario de escritura creativa y traducción, y se centra en sondear la opinión de los traductores para determinar el grado de colaboración entre ambos agentes, las dinámicas de trabajo utilizadas, su utilidad, su satisfacción con ellas y su impacto sobre la percepción autorial del texto meta. Los resultados muestran una clara tendencia a la colaboración con el escritor para afianzar su conocimiento del texto y refrendar o consensuar sus decisiones sobre aspectos estilísticos o terminológicos. Asimismo, dibujan unos altos niveles de satisfacción con las dinámicas establecidas y un escaso impacto de la colaboración en la percepción autorial de la traducción, texto que consideran fundamentalmente propio.
