Israel: testemunhas do reino

Abstract

A cidade de Jerusalém, Capital de Israel é a cidade mais cobiçada do planeta. Amada por cristãos, conquistada por muçulmanos, requisitada pelos judeus e desejada por diversas nações. Neste trabalho, não nos ateremos a moderna Israel, mas a Israel anterior a Jesus Cristo. Em trabalhos anteriores já escrevemos sobre os viveres em Israel antes e depois de Cristo. Neste trabalho, faremos um breve esboço do testemunho de Israel acerca do Reino de Deus, enfatizando o período intertestamentário. Muito se tem escrito sobre Israel, mas poucos os trabalhos que enfocam o período entre o Velho e o Novo Testamento. Os poucos trabalhos em língua portuguesa que se apresentam nessa temática contrabalanceiam suas atuações por serem, de forma geral, profundamente densos ou demasiadamente simplistas. Nosso intuito é buscar fornecer um escrito digno de credibilidade que seja acessível aos estudantes medianos, mas que não deixe a desejar em concepções gerais aos estudiosos mais aplicados.
