Ni fatalismo, ni voluntarismo: Filosofía de la realidad histórica

Abstract

El presente trabajo se centra en la obra de Ignacio Ellacuría Filosofía de la realidad histórica y quiere destacar su posible rendimiento contra posiciones fatalistas y voluntaristas en auge. Cada uno de estos términos —fatalismo y voluntarismo— va a condensar, respectivamente, dos concepciones reductivas de la historia y su proceder. Dos reducciones que conllevan peligrosas implicaciones antropológicas, psicosociales y políticas, debido a que impiden el correcto diagnóstico y tratamiento de problemas estructurales. Concluiremos que es en la integración estructural entre lo histórico y lo natural, por un lado, así como en las ideas de posibilidad real y funcionalidad, por otro lado, donde se hallan algunas claves conceptuales de la obra para combatir el fatalismo y el voluntarismo.
