The article is devoted to the analysis and research of innovative methods of teaching students in the conditions of the development of the information technology industry. Actual problems of professional training of specialists in the conditions of the development of the information society are analyzed and ways of their solution are investigated. The features of hardware and software for educational purposes are investigated.
