Desde o Iluminismo, a referência à Reforma constitui um dos sinais de identidade da filosofia alemã, especialmente do idealismo alemão. Também Heidegger vai se somar a essa tradição, sobretudo no seu período de juventude. O artigo analisa os aspectos fundamentais da confrontação heideggeriana com a Reforma, ressaltando tanto sua inserção na história da filosofia alemã como sua relevância para a configuração da filosofia heideggeriana.
