Abstract

El presente trabajo se basa en la experiencia que se obtuvo como interna de psicología con menores institucionalizadas cuyas edades fluctúan entre 9 y 14 años de edad, dentro de un Centro de Atención Residencial en Lima Metropolitana. Donde según investigaciones, la institucionalización causa problemas de socialización o relaciones interpersonales ocasionados por la falta de interacción social y de una atención individualizada (Defensoría del Pueblo, 2010). Las razones por las que ingresaron, se debieron a la causal social de abandono, ya sea parcial o total, donde las menores se hallaban en riesgo social como maltrato tanto, físico como psicológico, así como también tocamientos indebidos y mendicidad. En ciertos casos, los padres eran alcohólicos y/o drogadictos. Mientras que en otros, el abandono era causado por la muerte de los progenitores. Las características que muestran algunas de las menores al empezar el año de internado, son timidez, actitudes hostiles y desinterés.
