This master thesis includes a detailed report on the different e-learning environemnets that do exist, o their basic characetristics and on their advantages and disvantages. The basic topic of the master thesis is the implementation of a module that cooperates with the open source e-learning environment moodle and contributes to the personalization of the education for its users
