Abstract

Ainda que os artigos que a seguir se apresentam sejam maioritariamente oriundos da disciplina de Sociologia da Infância – o que não é de estranhar, se considerarmos o papel decisivo que os novos estudos sociológicos da infância tiveram para a configuração do campo interdisciplinar (cf. Prout, 2005) – eles declinam estas características comuns ao campo: a centralidade da criança na investigação, a alteridade infantil, a dimensão geracional e o carácter interdisciplinar da investigação. Fazem-no, na variedade temática sobre que se debruçam e no conjunto de conceitos, alguns deles chave na configuração do campo.
