Abstract

In der vorliegenden Diplomarbeit werden Methoden traditioneller kritischer Medientheorien um die Frankfurter Schule herum untersucht und vergleichend der Methode von Medienkritik, die in der Theaterproduktion »Who shot the princess?/Boxstop Telenovelas« (Flor Edwarda Gurrola, Gin/i Müller, Nils Olger et.al., Wien 2010) respektive dem -projekt »Reboldrom« erkennbar wird, gegenübergestellt. Dabei werden strukturalistische und poststrukturalistische Ansätze diskutiert und mit Genderthemen in Verbindung gebracht. Überlegungen zur Struktur und der Ästhetik des Theaterstücks führen zu einer Medienkritik hin, die ich als »Selbstreflexive Medienkritik« verstanden wissen möchte.
