Abstract

A partir del momento en que se rompe la unidad del mundo medieval, allá en el siglo xIV, hasta que la Modernidad empieza a ser efectivamente dueña de sí misma, transcurren según las interpretaciones del fenómeno "Modernidad" unos trescientos o cuatrocientos años. Es un lapso bastante largo corno para que la expresión "la época moderna" no resulte un tanto ambigua. Fruto del simposio que se realizó durante el segundo semestre del año 2008 es el presente libro. Se trata de diecisiete artículos que cubren algunos de los aspectos más significativos de la filosofía que se desarrolló entre los siglos XVI, XVII Y XVIII, Y de la vigencia de algunos de los problemas más importantes que la tradición moderna legó.
