En este artículo se analizan los cambios que han estado ocurriendo en la educación desde la aparición de la Web 2.0. Las instituciones educativas han estado buscando nuevos modelos para sustituir a los modelos obsoletos e intensificando el cambio de enfoque de maestro a alumno. Los estudiantes son capaces actualmente de crear sus propios entornos de aprendizaje, en función de sus gustos e intereses a través de las redes que se crean y amplían continuamente en un proceso permanente. Las Instituciones educativas y los docentes deben ahora considerar nuevos roles para acompañar a un enfoque que deja el aula y la educación formal a la educación que se estructura de manera informal. Es en este escenario en el que se proponen los entornos de aprendizaje personalizados. Los blogs son muy importantes en estos ambientes y por ello se analizan. En este trabajo se presentan algunos ejemplos para ilustrar su importancia. Abstract This article analyzes the changes that have been occurring in education since the advent of Web 2.0 at the turn of the century. Educational institutions have been looking for new models to replace outdated ones by intensifying the shift in focus from teacher centered to learner centered. Learners are able to create their own learning environment according to their tastes and interests through the networks that they create and continually expand in a lifelong process. Educational institutions and teachers must now consider new roles to accompany an approach that leaves the classroom and formal education to an education that is informally based. It is within this setting that Personalized Learning Environments are proposed. Blogs are very significant in these environments. In this paper some examples are given to illustrate their importance.
