Abstract

El conocimiento especializado del contenido constituye uno de los dominios de conocimiento requeridos para enseñar matemáticas. En este artículo se presentan resultados, vinculados con dicho dominio, como parte de una investigación realizada con estudiantes avanzadas y egresadas de un Profesorado de matemáticas de Argentina. La indagación estuvo orientada a caracterizar sus conocimientos para enseñar cuerpos poliedros y redondos en los dos primeros años de la escuela secundaria. El estudio, de tipo cualitativo-descriptivo, empleó como instrumento una entrevista abierta. Si bien las participantes dieron indicios de un conocimiento matemático bastante consolidado, se detectaron debilidades en la conformación de su conocimiento especializado del contenido.
