Abstract

A noção de técnica desempenha um importante papel na filosofia de Martin Heidegger. Já em Ser e Tempo, sob a categoria da instrumentalidade, a técnica aparece como uma espécie de destino do ser. Este artigo apresenta uma leitura de A questão da técnica do filósofo alemão na perspectiva da arqueologia da ontologia de Giorgio Agamben. A pesquisa mostrará que reconhecer a noção de Ge-Stell heideggeriana como integrante do campo semântico do dispositivo de Agamben indica a possibilidade de localizar a história também teológica de desenvolvimento da técnica. Além disso, será possível evidenciar que o conceito de Heidegger não dá conta de um anterior desenvolvimento da noção de instrumentalidade que já aparece na obra de Tomás de Aquino e que se tornará importante para Agamben entender a técnica como a operação do corpo vivo pelos dispositivos de subjetivação.
